Configuring document requirements for upload requests

With upload requests and upload portals you enable people that don’t use SmartLockr to securely upload files to you. You can configure document types in our admin portal to make sure you receive the correct file type and size. Read on to see how you to configure this.

Configuring Document types

Step 1: Log in on our admin portal.

Step 2: Click on “Document types”.

Step 3: Click on “Add document types

Step 4: Enter the name of the document type “Name of the document” field

Step 5: Enter the maximum file size that will be allowed in the “Max. documentsize” field.

Step 6: Select the extensions that will be allowed in the “Choose Extensions” field.

Step 7: Click on the “Add” button.

And you’re done! You’ll now be able to select the document type you created when configuring the upload portals or when sending an upload request through our add-in in Microsoft Outlook.
