In this article we will show you how you can send a secure upload request with Smartlockr. When you use a secure upload request, the recipient will receive a link where the requested files can be uploaded securely to you. A secure upload request can only be used once by the recipient.

Sending a secure upload request with Smartlockr:

Step 1: Select your upload request by clicking the dropdown menu as you are creating a new email.

Step 2: You will now see a pop-up window as shown below. Here you can choose the file formats and/or select a template for explaining your request (if your administrator has added any file types and/or templates). Click save when you are done.

Step 3: If you chose to use a template in the previous step you probably don't need to write/edit your email anymore. If you didn't choose a template in Step 2 just type your email as usual.

Step 4: When you're done writing your email please click 'send' like usual.

Step 5: The Smartlockr wizard will appear to confirm the recipient(s). Select the recipient(s) and click 'send'.

Step 6: That's it! You're done and all that's left is to wait for the recipient(s) to upload the file(s).

In this article we showed you how you can send a secure upload request to a recipient. This upload request enables the recipient to upload files securely to you. Upload requests are designed for one time use and can't be used multiple times. If you're looking for a way for recipients to upload file(s) multiple times a upload portal might be what you're looking for.
