Non email domains:
Non email domains are domains or email addresses for which all incoming messages are blocked regardless of whether they are provided with Smartlockr encryption or not.
This feature is useful to use for:
Filtering your emails within Microsoft Exchange yourself so that this is not done by third parties (such as Smartlockr).
Preventing notification emails from Smartlockr that may overload your archiving software or require manual actions.
You can adjust these settings as an administrator of Smartlockr on this page: https://admin.smartlockr.eu/outlookSettings/NonEmailDomains
Excluded Domains:
Excluded domains are domains or email addresses on which you do not want to apply Smartlockr encryption.
This feature is useful to use for:
When you know that the receiving party does not wish to receive encrypted emails.
When there is an automatic process at the recipient that processes the attachments from your email.
When you want to send normal email to that specific domain or email address.
Excluded domains may not activate in some cases because security may need to be applied when the mail contains large attachments or because there are many recipients in it who are not on the excluded domains list.
You can adjust these settings as an administrator of Smartlockr on this page: https://admin.smartlockr.eu/outlookSettings/recipientpolicies
Do you want to deliver email in any form but without Smartlockr encryption? Then use ‘excluded domains’. If you want to block email, use ‘Non email domains”.
