In this article, we explain how to ensure that Smartlockr no longer asks for the email address from users of the Smartlockr add-in. This requires version 4.12.0605 or higher, as earlier versions do not support this feature.
If there is an SSO connection with Smartlockr, users may briefly see the screen but will not need to take any further action. The value ensures that we use the primary email address to log in to Smartlockr.
If you use Smartlockr authentication, we will still need your password and any SMS code before we can grant you access to Smartlockr.
The registry value to add is as follows:
Name: IsCurrentOutlookEmailUsedForLogin
Type: REG_DWORD
Key Value: 1 (0 is off)
Where you create this value depends on the Smartlockr variant you have made available to users. Our registry values are located at:
Single User: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartLockr
All-User: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SmartLockr
We have added the two variants of the registry export to this article. You can download and open the variant you need on your computer to add the value. Your browser or security software may indicate that it is dangerous to download this file because it is a registry export.
